BoM Festival Updates and Early Bird Special
The Bridges of Meaning festival is developing very dynamically and thanks to having support from many fronts we are looking forward to the festival with hope, as everything is coming together step by step.

An update on the ticket sales/fundraising campaign:

The Fundraising is developing well.

We have as of today:

  • Raised EUR 3,525 (35.25% of our fundraising goal!)
  • Sold 20 tickets
  • Had 2 of 10 private lunch seats claimed

We are so thankful for all those who have already purchased tickets and helped us towards our goal as well as those who plan to do it in the future. It really is overwhelming to see the support we have with these efforts.

A reminder to those who have yet to book your ticket:

The campaign runs up to and including August 14, 2022. After that, the regular ticket price will go up from EUR 150 to EUR 225. We are also capping tickets at 100 for the first year, so we highly suggest booking sooner rather than later.

As a further incentive we are excited to announce a special offer to thank our early contribution!

Early momentum with this type of thing is so important and we want to honor that. Anyone who books their ticket before July 30th will be entered into a raffle to win a seat at the private speaker lunch! All attendees who contributed over $225 have already guaranteed their seats at the event, however we are willing to give 2 free seats away to our early regular ticket contributors as a thank you. All expenses will be covered by the festival and people who have already purchased their tickets will be included in the official raffle.

Official winners will be contacted by email before the festival starts, so be on the lookout for that announcement and purchase your ticket now if you’d like to be considered for the opportunity!

Please consider sharing this email with friends who might be interested in coming to the festival. We want to make this available to anyone with interest in coming. It should also be noted that if you won’t be able to attend this year you can also reserve a ticket now for next year with the same campaign.

As the word continues to spread, more popular channels in this little corner of the internet have noticed our efforts and are passing on the message, which is so exciting to see!

Discord Server: Meet Friends, Ask Questions

Our community has opened a discord server for those interested in attending any of the European events happening this summer. In the Discord server there is a lively exchange and festival visitors get to make friends in advance of the event. We’ve also included a private page for official ticket holders where Festival-goers can exchange information on how to get to the festival and where to stay (e.g. joint Airbnb bookings). We have included the link below if you would like to participate with that server in any way. Us festival organizers are active on that server, so if you have questions feel free to reach out through that platform! We’re always happy to answer them. (We are also happy to answer all your questions about the festival by e-mail:

We will be providing camping on the festival grounds, but those who want to join in on the fun should hurry! There will be tent sites for 20 people, and the list is filling up.

Details about camping can be found here:

Speaker Connection:

Some speakers are eager to connect with the community before the event and are currently planning Zoom Calls with festival visitors. We feel so grateful that our speakers are so committed to helping us foster community and if you want to be involved in this evolving conversation, please reach out so we can help you get involved.

That’s all we have for now, but we look forward to bringing you more updates as things unfold!
