In general
In most cases, international guests will land at Frankfurt Airport. By train it takes about 2 hours from Frankfurt airport to Landau (Pfalz) Central Station. Here you find the website of Deutsche Bahn for railway connections and tickets: https://www.bahn.com/en

Note: For the month of August you can buy a very cheap ticket with which you can travel all of Germany (yes!) BUT you cannot take the very fast trains like ICE, IC and EC, only the “snail trains” but that’s enough for the most cases, see further information here, watch out for the “9-euro-ticket” (which was funded by the german government in response to rising gas prices):

You are not allowed to drive intercity trains with it (see further info on the website, all trains are marked in a form like ICE (InterCity Express), IC (InterCity), EC (EuropeExpress) <- those three are not included in the 9-euro-ticket but RB (RegionalBahn -> regional train – RB-trains are included in the ticket), but it will still get you from Frankfurt Airport to Landau in der Pfalz in 2,5 to 4 hours, depending on the connection.
